Ubuntu

Canonical today released Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, which according to their presser, “brings a new level of reliability, performance and interoperability to cloud and scale out environments with support and maintenance for five years.”

Sounds pretty good; and Ubuntu is already leading the pack as far as mainstream accessibility goes! (ok – mint, fedora, suse etc are great too…)

Anyway, as the story goes, there was a fair bit of a migration away from earlier versions of UbuntuĀ  due to the way the menu launcher was implemented… Apparently Ubuntu 14 complete “attends to these concerns” and offers something very new.

Have you had a chance to give Ubuntu 14 a spin? What do you think?
