Dear all,

It has now been a year since a cohort of individuals (entrepreneurs, STEM educators, researchers, innovation sector professionals et al) commenced a committee/network development journey known as the Innovation Central Australia Network (ICAN).

A big thankyou to everyone here who was a part of this committee and/or shared various insights along the way.

As you may or may not be aware, as the culminating activity of the ICAN’s first year, ICAN’s current committee members and other local supporting organisations are collaborating to run an engaging and forward-focused event next Tuesday 20th August 2024.

The intention of this event is to bring together a wide range of people from the ‘Innovation Sector Community’ and open-up the conversation around possibilities for developing Central Australia’s innovation ecosystem. It is also an opportunity for interested folks to network and get involved with initiatives, collaborative projects and groups, such as the ICAN in 2024/25.

Please find the promotional flyers attached and distribute amongst your networks. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.

We hope to see you there!

Kind regards,

Edan Baxter
ICAN Chair (2023/24)

P.S. Following this event, my tenure as the [inaugural] Chair will come to a close. If a committee like ICAN sounds like something you’d like to get involved with, do submit an EOI and be a part of determining where a committee/network like the ICAN goes in the future!
